Sustainable Building: To Achieve Thermal Comfort in Highly Glazed Buildings Using Smart Glass

چکیده

Abstract The conventional building design provides static solutions for the envelope, although climatic characteristics are variable parameters, which leads to a discrepancy between and environment, hence an uncomfortable thermal environment occupants. Accordingly, external facades of many buildings have become burden on their occupants, necessitating mechanical achieve comfort, negatively affects causes energy crisis, air pollution, global warming. It is hypothesized that usage smart glass in envelope can provide optimum adapt environmental characteristics, thus enhancing users' comfort and, moreover, contributing achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), seek improve health, tackle climate change, responsible consumption. This approved by simulating high-glazed office using DesignBuilder software its base case after applying proposed techniques. Then cooling loads calculated investigate consumption efficiency.
